difference in someone’s life. Golden String, Inc is a non-profit organization that provides recreational activities
to adults and children with special needs in our surrounding communities.
Golden String is looking for a part time (20 hours/week) Community Social Director. Duties will include:
Oversee/plan all activities of Golden String; Contact parent/guardian of new client and explain services/policies;
Coordinate with Direct Care Staff to ensure all details of service plan are met; Develop, print and distribute
calendar of events to staff and clients; Coordinate staff to client ratios for all activities; Coordinate transportation
to all activities; Generate forms, billing sheets, payroll for record keeping and evidence of compliance. Must
have strong leadership, organization and time management skills. This position requires on call flexibility due
to the special needs of our clientele. A company cell phone stipend will be provided to allow for this.
