Golden String Prom 2015, held on Saturday, May 30th, was another successful event!
The theme this year was “The Kentucky Derby”, all the girls were encouraged to wear their favorite hat and the gentlemen a bow tie. The Purple Cat arts department and Mohawk High School Students assisted in making the centerpieces and backdrop for the night.
The Balloon Doctor also made a generous donation to make the night more colorful. The Prom was hosted at the St. Nick’s Social Hall by the local Catholic Youth Ministries in the area. The youth served spaghetti and meatball with salad and bread to over 200 individuals. Jessica Behon was crowned “Queen” and Richard Stanton was crowned “King”. A great night was had be all the attended!!
