Aye Carumba!
If you love authentic Mexican food, our friends of Golden String had the opportunity to enjoy some great food and donate money back to Golden String! Our friends at El Vallarta were so generous and agreed to give 10% of food sales back to Golden String if you mentioned you were there to support Golden String. The generosity did not stop there. El Vallarta allowed us to bring in celebrity bartenders for the night and put a few drinks specials on the menu! With the help of our friends Danny Catullo, Casey Malone, Mike Humes, John McNally, Tony Santangelo, and Louie Kennedy bartending, they were able to raise almost $300 for Golden String. Along with the help of the bartenders, we received donations from El Vallarta, Touch the Moon Candy Saloon, Joe Gallagher’s Lunch Bucket, Golden String Radio, The Cleveland Browns and other sponsors we have assembled some baskets to raffle off. For $1 you can purchase a ticket to win the Touch the Moon basket that includes a $20 gift certificate to El Vallarta and a $10 gift certificate to Joe Gallagher’s Lunch Bucket. For $5 you can purchase a ticket to win Golden String Radio t-shirts, cozies, flasks, Touch the Moon goodies, and The Cleveland Browns autographed Johnny Manziel Jersey.
Even if you don’t like Mexican food, please stop out and buy some raffle tickets and have a drink. All proceeds raised from the event will be given to Golden String!!If you would like to purchase any of the raffle tickets please stop by one of the Purple Cat locations or the ISLE office.
If you have questions about the event feel free to email Adrienne@goldenstringradio.org!! If you weren’t able to stop by in October, please join us on Monday November 3, 2014 to do it all over again! All winners will be drawn for the baskets and 50/50 on Monday, November 3, 2014

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of Golden String, a 501©3 Non-Profit Organization in Youngstown, Ohio. Golden String was created in 2001 to reach beyond the physical needs of disabled persons and offers opportunities to increase personal fulfillment. Imagination and creativity are cultivated through a wide range of activities and social events. Golden String also specializes in vocational training and medical transportation/advocacy for those who need it.
El Vallarta Mexican Restaurante and Cantina in Boardman, Ohio will be hosting a fundraiser for us. They have agreed to give 10% of food sales from October 14th and November 3rd to Golden String. On November 3rd during the Monday Night Football game, we would like to have some giveaways and raffles to raise extra funds for Golden String. We are looking for any Cleveland Browns Sports Memorabilia that we can raffle off to customers. We will gladly accept any donations for the event.
If you should have further questions about our request please feel free to reach me at 330-207-5949 or Adrienne@goldenstringradio.org. We appreciate all of your efforts to help us with our fundraiser. Thank you again for being so kind to our friends with special needs.
Sincerely,
Adrienne Mowry
