A Christmas Ornament Party sponsored by the YSU Council for Exceptional Children in collaboration with Alpha Phi Delta and YSEA was held on Sunday November 16, 2014 at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
All proceeds benefited Golden String Inc. YSU student and ISLE Inc. employee, Jenna Berry was the main organizer of the event. Christmas bulbs and trees were created by over 60 children and adults with special needs. Refreshments were served and a bake sale was held too. Some Golden String clients now have their shopping finished early, as they are distributing their new ornaments as gifts.
